How can we help?

Answers about ordering, collection and delivery, payments, and your account. Search below, or jump straight to a topic.

Ordering & lead times

Placing an order and choosing the date you need it.

Browse the bakers near you, add what you’d like to your basket, and order for the date you need it.

Everything is made to order, so the dates you can choose depend on the products in your basket.

Each product has a lead time: the number of days’ notice the baker needs to make it. The lead time is shown on the product, and it sets the earliest date you can order that product for.

Two things decide the earliest date available: the lead time on the products in your basket, and the baker’s order cut-off time.

Each baker sets their own daily cut-off. If you order after it, the earliest available date moves on by a day.

Collection & delivery

Getting your order: collection codes and baker delivery.

When your order is ready you’ll get an email with a collection code and a QR code. Show either of them at collection and you’re done.

Some do. If a baker offers delivery, they’ll be in touch with the delivery details for your order.

Delivery is set by each baker. Any delivery fee and minimum order value are shown on that baker’s storefront.

Changes, cancellations & messaging

Cancelling, reporting a problem, and talking to your baker.

You can cancel for a full refund any time before the baker confirms your order.

Once the baker has confirmed it, the order can’t be cancelled online. Use “Report a problem” on the order and our team will review it.

Message the baker from the order to ask about a change. They’re the ones making it.

If something isn’t right with the order itself, use “Report a problem” on the order and our team will review it.

Yes, about an order you’ve already placed, from that order.

There’s no messaging before you order. If you have a question first, email support@krumblelane.co.uk.

Allergens & food safety

Allergen information and what to do about a severe allergy.

Every product lists its allergens. You’ll find them in the product’s allergy information.

Kitchens may also handle allergens other than the ones listed on a product.

If you have a severe allergy, check the product’s allergy information and contact the baker before ordering.

Payments & refunds

How you pay, the service fee, and where refunds go.

By card. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

A service fee applies to your order. It’s shown before you pay, so you always see the total first.

Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Cancelling before the baker confirms your order gives you a full refund. After that, use “Report a problem” on the order and our team will review it.

Reviews

Leaving a review and baker replies.

Yes. After your order you can leave a review for the baker.

Yes. Bakers can post a public reply to a review.
